First of all, before I get to my point, I just have to say how absolutely amazing this show has been. The meticulous planning that must have gone on before the show even started production is blowing me away, with all of the subtle touches and foreshadowing. The plotting on the series has been top notch, and I can’t remember the last show that could ramp up the tension on this level.
That said, given the situation with Saint Walker, it seems like his question in this episode was answered. But was it? I’m trying to be vague in case anyone hasn’t seen the episode yet, but be warned, spoilers exist beyond the cut.
Also, this ties in with my earlier GLTAS musings.
Pretty much all of this (and the first two points were ones I brought up offline when my fiancé here came up with this whole prediction right after we watched “Invasion”). I don’t know if we’ll see Razer shift spectrum colors as soon as next episode, but I’m still putting my money on Blue before all is said and done!
- Razer, Hal, and Kilowog will find a way to Oa, and Razer will have to fight Aya.

I’M AFRAID RAZER WILL BLAME HIMSELF.After all, Hal only told Kilowog to go check out the supposedly damaged Red Lantern Spacecraft. Razer voluntarily left Aya alone in the interceptor to go and inspect the ship.
Mirroring how he voluntarily left Ilana…
On the other hand, if he hadn’t gone with Hal and Kilowog? They’d possibly be dead. Blown to bits. 8( Since he was the one who noticed the countdown and they didn’t. And even if he’d stayed on the Interceptor, he would have been overpowered and either killed or thrown out.
So oh man, I hope Razer can be logical about this and NOT blame himself.
I just…damn, man. How are they going to deal with this situation when Atrocitus now has an 18 month lead on them in terms of travel time? Plus with the Interceptor, he’s got a Trojan Horse. He can approach Oa without being caught and potentially sneak into the Guardian’s council area and start with the murdering. There aren’t even any GLs left on Oa to stop that from happening now because they all got sent ahead to intercept the oncoming armada!
What I’m scared of? MURDER MURDER MURDER, the episode ends poorly for the good guys and we end up waiting 3-4 months for season 2 to start. ;-;
No pun intended…I’m hopeful this thing with Saint Walker is the game changer, though. Blue is what the greens need, now. It’s just that huge leap of an advantage Atrocitus has on everyone else that makes me cringe.
I really wish I had something intelligent to say. I really do.
But this episode has robbed me of my ability to form coherent thoughts.
I’m lucky I’m able to get this much out.
I just.
OMG you guys.
I feel like my heart and brain just got involved in a high speed train wreck with each other and not even Bruce Willis survived. ;-;
I’m…I’m just gonna go cry in the corner work out now. And hope that helps clear my head enough that I can at least come back and make some art.
PS: I’m wearing my Blue Lantern “HOPE” shirt today.

AAAAH you draw the best Rex Rage faces!
Eep, thank you! XD Hopefully I can work that image into a larger one I’ve been considering for a while. Then do it all out in color so it’ll be really ragey!

I’m SO passing this on to Aya’s player.

THE CAKE IS A LIE
…I should just suggest that Aya become the mascot of pie. Because pie is clearly the only thing that can stand against GLaDOS and her damn cake.
Yes, pie.
Maybe key lime pie.
God, why am I still awake.
…or yet more reasons I can’t quit panfandom role playing.
Razer’s been in game for a couple of weeks now and, no surprise, he hates it there. Powers don’t work because the city always steals away character abilities when they first arrive, so his ring is dead and there’s no way to charge it. For a while, he was the only GLTAS character there and while that’s improved now that Aya’s joined the game, now he’s on edge because he has to look after her half the time. (Due to power supression, she arrived as a sphere. Yep. No Interceptor. No android body. JUST THE SPHERE. Don’t ask how this works, the city does what it wants. Fortunately the current situation has made bending so ridiculously easy, she’s got her body temporarily.)
So far, there are three other characters Razer gets along with okay besides Aya. They’re not his friends, he just tolerates them the best out of everyone else he’s met. These lucky three are:
- V from the V for Vendetta comics
- Agent Six from Generator Rex
- William Jesse Grant, a young OC Methodist preacher
… ONE OF THESE THINGS IS NOT LIKE THE OTHERS. It’s kind of hilarious, really.
Teen Titans Wally West and Dana Tan from Batman Beyond are attempting to make friends/advise/get along with Razer and having limited success. Although Razer may end up wary of Dana because she knows what Lanterns are and he’s trying to keep the fact that he’s a Red Lantern on the down low for right now.
And Razer hates Dib from Invader Zim. Oh my god, the level of frustration with Dib. The kid’s questions are annoying enough, but then he had to go and say he wanted to dismantle Aya. Physical harm was threatened over that, since Razer can’t afford to lose the one person in the city he can actually trust. The whole place is clearly full of crazy and the scrap has recently hit the fan full force, so he wants to keep Aya safe in his corner. This also means that Razer has turned into a total network creeper. Multiple threats on Aya’s safety have him stalking every open communication between her and the other city residents. To be fair, though, some of them haven’t had the best of luck with female voiced A.I.s in the past… aka GLaDOS from Portal is there.
- Young Justice: What did we do those missing 16 hours?
- Young Justice Fandom: Fuck the 16 hours. What did you do those missing 5 years?!?!?
I’m quite surprised that there’s still people who admitted that they don’t know Rex Salazar’s official build name.
Okay, I shall post about it later (along with history how wiki figured out the official name).
Actually, as Tsa (thepreciousthing) pointed out to me on Plurk the other day, the name’s in Fill Marc Sagadraca’s storyboards on DA. I missed it when he posted them due to the size of the boards as they appear on my flat screen monitor… The text is just small enough that it’s a bit difficult to read, so I usually just glance at it without reading it and focus on the art instead…and missed that bit as a result.
Don’t really go to the Wiki itself much at all… though looking at it now, it looks like it’s missing some other info from Fill’s boards - the EVO names of the Consortium. That info’s right here if you’d like to snag it.
