Wild Hybrid

Sketching and inking this morning while listening to the Generator Rex music on Kevin Manthei’s site.  

All the posted tracks are really great, but my favorite out of them all is still “Rex Cures the World” from episode 60, “End Game, part 2.”  For a while, even listening to it multiple times a day, I’d get goosebumps right around the 00:48 second mark.  IMO, this track is perfect.  It really captures the hope and the triumph in the series after what was likely close to seven long years of Event related nightmares were finally brought to an end.  This track, more than any of the rest, evokes an emotional reaction in me.  It’s brilliant, it’s awesome, it captures the light at the end of the tunnel and brings it rushing into reality.  I can listen to it a dozen times in a row and still want to listen to it again.

I’m always going to love this series, dammit.
