genrex-headcanons: “Noah’s mom is a single mother.” I wondered the same until “Phantom of the Soap Opera.”  He kept saying “parents”, so my assumption was that both of them were still under the same roof.  Suppose it’s possible his parents could be separated/divorced and his father lives elsewhere, but…eh.  I dunno.  Given we never see them, I figured they’re probably just away on business a lot.  Or maybe one’s in the military and the other works a lot or…something. At one point I asked someone involved with the show on the writing end of things if anything about Noah’s parents had ever been planned/developed, but never made it into the series… The individual I talked to said that if anything had been developed, they couldn’t recall, but that in their mind Noah was pretty much just a latchkey kid.
