GLTAS fan fic excerpt: “Alterations”
Okay, uh. Excerpt from that thing I’ve been working on.
I’m mostly posting this because of all the stuff that’s come up recently about how Razaya would work since Aya is an AI inhabiting a mechanical form. I’ve mentioned it before…I’m a Transfan and Transformers fandom has come up with a number of unique ways on how to handle the physical aspect of a relationship between machines. Or even between machines and organic life forms. »;; So this excerpt is kind of where I’m going with one way I think this could work. It also takes Razer’s programming and engineering skills into account. (I should mention this is completely safe for work and I don’t think the full fic itself will end up NSFW at all. I see Razer as being very cautious with this for a number of reasons and since this is about the two of them easing slowly into a relationship in a “what if” future scenario, a NSFW situation wouldn’t happen right away anyway, IMO.)

Damn, looking great so far! Nice to see this again with the character line work cleaned up. So looking forward to the finished piece. :D
WIP’ing it up, now! I may change a little or a lot about this before I take it to final inks. We’ll see.

Iron Man never crossed my mind at all when I first saw the design in episode. Rather, I was thinking Fire Man.
I spend my Sunday mornings doing constructive things. Yes, I do. Like drawing Razer with almost no clothes on. :|
Obviously none of us know what he looks like minus his helm and the rest of his Lantern suit. Maybe we’ll never find out if he’s got hair or what his ears look like or anything. I don’t know. But I wanted to play with ideas, so this happened. Or is happening. Right now it’s a sketch WIP while I play with ideas for his markings.
Went with elongated ears to mirror the slats on his helm. Short hair that, in my mind, is more like short, thick fur. Black or dark brown maybe. Runs down the back of his head and neck, then about half way down his back. Not as long hair from his head, but rather like a real short, thin mane that grows out of the line of his spine. Don’t ask me why I think this is cool, I just do.
Some of the markings I’ve put in mirror the red marks on his Red Lantern suit. I figured that was reasonable and it looks good. The rest I’m just making up as I go along and obviously I have yet to get to his lower half.
If we’re never shown what his hair or bare arms or whatever look like, this will be head canon reference. I role play the dude, so I might need it at some point.
